He is an assistant professor in Surgery at Jazan University, the General Surgery Residency Program Director in the Jazan Region, and the Clinical Simulation & Life Support Center director at Jazan University. He is also the Trauma Pathway Lead & the Cluster Trauma Medical Director for Jazan Region as part of the national initiative to achieve the 2030 vision. He finished his surgical residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He completed a 2-year Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, USA.
